Protein is an incredibly important nutrient in everyone’s diet. If you are a vegan or a vegetarian you will meet a lot of people who are very concerned about your protein status. Protein is composed of amino acids there are 20 amino acids in total and different combinations of this makeup all the proteins in our bodies.  Protein is responsible for building muscle, fuelling our brains, maintaining our organ function, it lowers our blood sugar, and helps us to focus at our desks.
