From their call: The Artist-in-Residence program at Haleakalā National Park consists of a program for all Arts and artist(s) worldwide in all artistic media. This residency open to all artists, writers, photographers, musicians, poets and performers.
This Residency features:
-$2000 Stipend
-Housing inside the Park on the Island of Maui.
-Free use of the Wilderness Cabins in the park for 15 nights maximum (Reservations Required)
-Venue(s) for the artist’s public presentation(s).
-Free Access to park locations
-No Residency Fee.
-NPS and NPAF Art Donation consideration
National Parks Arts Foundation, through the Park Service, and many generous partner donations, provides lodging, free rental of the wilderness cabins in the crater areas and a venue for workshops and lectures.
